About the Author Stephan Hausner is a Heilpraktiker trained in alternative medicine with a focus on traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, and osteopathy. He has also trained in humanistic psychology and since 1993 has used systemic constellations in working with health issues both individually and in groups, traveling widely as a trainer at institutes and conferences, workshops, and training programs around the world.

Schusterman Stephan Hausner's new book reveals many original observations about the relationship between the traumas of our ancestors and the illnesses that we carry. He shows through story and explanation how we secretly maintain connection to the unresolved events of the past when we suffer a disease.Alternative and complementary medicine has exploded with new techniques and procedures, yet few of these new ways of balancing the body/mind deal with the hidden patterns behind illness that show the love in the soul for the suffering of our ancestors. Stephan clearly shows the consequences a child has to endure, yes chooses to endure, when he/she bonds to a family with unresolved pain and trauma.He also shows us a way out, so that we can begin to reposition ourselves in relation to our family, so that we can honor the past and love our family without suffering. Even when illness cannot be completely cured, Stephan shows how to bring awareness and light into the process. He reveals the love that is hidden behind the pain. This brings peace into the soul.This book will change how you view yourself, and if you have clients/patients, you will see them in a new, refreshing light.

Constellation as Healer By Francesca Mason Boring Even If It Costs Me My Life by Stephan Hausner is a beautiful introduction to Family Constellation as healer, even at the literal physical level. The descriptions of client interventions utilizing constellation work are both compassionate and engaging. Clearly illustrating the connection between past familial trauma and medical pathology, this book does a great deal to advance the understanding of the impact of trans-generational trauma.For facilitators of the method, the stance of the facilitator is instructive and encouraging.Stephan writes, "If I may wish one thing at the end of this book, it would be that the medical profession would include a consideration of trans-generational perspectives when looking at the origins and contributing factors in illness. In my opinion, systemic constellation work with health issues has earned the right to a place of regard within the field of medicine" (p.285).I would expand that wish to include those in the health field, the field of psychotherapy, counseling and social work, teaching, and a multiplicity of healing disciplines. By Udana Power I loved getting the overview of what Family Constellations are and how they work as The author took me through one experience of a constellation after another. The examples off-set with the explanations of what was forming in the constellations and combined with the facilitator's ability to ask the right questions and allow his intuition to add new information to the Field while at the same time allow the Field to guide him was truly informative. I will be reading this book again as I get deeper and deeper into this study. Everyone who is interested in self transformation must experience this work first hand. I've done every type of therapy and self development technique possible and was totally astounded by the accuracy of the Field and direct access to what was ACTUALLY standing I my way of moving forward in my life... Rather than just my story from my point of view of what happened. Because of this impartial view of what REALLY was happening in the household I grew up in, I gained a new understanding of the dynamics that were running my family. As a result old, stale, long-standing issues have been resolving so quickly that I feel like I've escaped prison...a prison of my own beliefs and misconceptions. Truly magnificent work. Especially for anyone who is struggling with difficult health issues.
