The book is written in a brutally honest, confrontational and extremely funny style, which had me laughing straight from the copyright page and that's no exaggeration. The humor is maintained consistently throughout from jibes at the fitness and dieting industries, the author's evolutionary perspective which actually made a lot of sense to me, all the way to a crude drawing of the author (he's a big lad) who has an ice cream tattooed on his shoulder.As far as actual weight loss advice goes, just do the opposite of what this book says and you'll be fine, and have fun while you learn what it is, because this book is not about weight loss. No - It's about fat gain and that we should all do it and be proud of it, because we're fighting the good fight in the process and building our bodies to how nature always intended. I told you - It's a funny read and quite obviously a satire, but with an (un)healthy spattering of truth and good sense thrown in, just to throw you off.I will probably read this book again at some point, because it was that enjoyable.

Not just any girlfriend, but the ride or die chick who has your back (and vice versa). St. Clair writes about (conversationally speaking) the most obvious, yet delicate subjects with one-two punch responses that are given in love amd respect. This book is the first in a series, if not a TV show, that is branding St. Clair as the current relationship guru among girlfriends.

A quick read that will make you laugh and reflect on many situations in your own life. The perfect gift for self and your girlfriends. A wonderful gift from the bride to all the bridesmaids. My best friend and I read it together and had a great time trying to figure out who in our lives apply to the scenarios. I am definitely ordering copies for my girlfriends.

There were things that many know, but just needed to be reminded of as well as things that some need to be told. Such a cute concept to get a dialogue going. I think sending one to someone that needs to be "reminded" of a situation that's inside is a great way to broach subjects that may be a little hard to confront someone about. I smiled a little, laughed a little and truly enjoyed this book!

A few transcription errors and the epub format is odd By Heather Hoag Sam Smith has such a beautiful voice, and I have about the same vocal range as him, so I had to get the sheet music. I feel I should have bought the physical copy, though. The staves themselves are picture files, while the titles and copyright info are text. This makes the page format...interesting. I managed to print the pages I needed, but even when I adjusted the font size to prevent every other page from being blank (which is what happens with the standard font size), it changed it back when printing. The titles are now HUGE. I have a lot of pages with just the last copyright line at the top. I obviously reused them. If you're just reading it from a Kindle or iPad, it's great. But if you want a physical copy, I'd suggest buying the physical copy.One more observation: Some of the measures are wrong. For example, the piano line for "I feel we're close enough" in "Latch" has one long chord. However, in listening to the song, that measure progresses just as you'd assume, with the same rhythm as the rest. The chord progression in that stanza is also incorrect. The entire song consists of the same 4 basic chords. This isn't a glaring issue, just something to think about. Another example is "Not In That Way". The refrain is supposed to begin with a Bb, but it's printed as a D. Playing a D just sounds wrong. This is a minor issue, as there's only one note difference in the chords, and it's easy to just remember to change it.Bottom line: read the music while listening to the song. Or learn the sheet music and compare it with the song. It's easy to point out the errors and fix them, if you have any piano or guitar training. I would still recommend this to ANYONE who wants to play these songs. The album is beautiful in every way.

By Amazon Customer I don't understand why you would mix the vocal line in with the piano accompaniment. You already have the vocal stave. So now I have to remove the vocal part and guess in some cases whether some of the notes would have been included if they were to have provided a true piano accompaniment.

I'd say this is harder music, as I wanted the easy piano version, and this was not it. lol However, if you're like me, and you can play, but you're not a virtuoso, the guitar chords are there, so you can play the chords with your left and the rhythm with your right. That works out just fine.Also a bonus is if you have the actual cd, it's all in the same key, so you can play right along with the book, and it's in the same order.Love you, Sam Smith.
