Most of these are already available in other books from Hal Leonard so only a few new things here. What I'd really like to see is a comprehensive book of guitar tab of U2 songs played live. Most people just want to learn to play the songs alone at home or as the solo guitarist in a cover band and chord books or tab of the recorded versions is not too helpful. Why there isn't a guitar tab book of Achtung Baby is beyond comprehension.

The book contains thirteen of the eighteen tracks from the album plus a bonus score, “Moonlight Stroll,” a piece that has not yet been released on an album. All of the scores were transcribed by Milana and her husband; then I proofed and edited them. The book has beautiful full-color covers on the front and back. The book is not spiral bound, but should be fairly easy to break in. Milana rated each of the pieces on a scale of 1-3 levels of difficulty (1 is easiest) and categorized each piece’s genre (“soft rock,” “neo-classical trance,” etc.). I wouldn’t call of the pieces easy (elementary), but they are not overly advanced either. Most pianists at an early-advanced playing level should be able to master this music with some practice, and several of the pieces are easier than that. The layout of each piece is roomy and easy-to-read, printed on bright white paper stock. Dynamics are clearly marked and metronome settings are included. This is a beautiful book that will give Milana’s pianistic fans many hours of enjoyment! Recommended!

About the Author Jonathan Little is a professional poker player from Pensacola, Florida who started playing poker when he turned 18 years old. Solid advice, excellent format, applicable to today's games, explanations occasionally lacking clarity/detail By Jake P Saliba I play up to these stakes live and am a winner over several years of part time play.This book is good because it accurately captures the situations and player tendencies present in most live games. Though the hands are played primarily at $10/20, the strategy is probably applicable down through tougher $2/5 tables. (With the caveat that the lower in stakes you go, your assumptions/sizings/strategy may change as less of your opponents are competent) I wouldn't recommend this book for competent known winners at $5/10+. Players seeking help at $2-5 and up will find benefit here. Possibly $1/2 players, but the optimal bet sizing, hand ranges, and opponent tendencies will be different at this stake due to huge rake and very bad players.The format of the book is very good. The book is a collection of hand histories from several long sessions. The author pauses at each decision point of his hand and asks you what you would do in that spot. After the hand, he revisits each decision and discusses the merits of all the options. There are even a few spots where he admits a mistake in his own play and shows what the better options would be.The huge benefit to this format is that it has a lot more training value than most poker books. As long as you actually stop to think about your preferred decision before moving on, you're exercising your poker decision making instead of passively reading. Despite being a bit more practice than entertainment, the book is also pretty interesting / engaging. The format also allows you to read very small sections in a single sitting if you don't have large blocks of time set aside for reading. (normally, that wouldn't be an effective way to read a poker book)I do have one small complaint about the book: Though the author's decision making is quite good, I think his explanations can sometimes leave a little bit to be desired. He's trying to straddle a line between being brief so he can talk about every decision, while still effectively explaining the hands. Admittedly, this is a HARD task.I'll give an example - in one hand, we open from KJo UTG (normally would be a fold, but author claims that his image is VERY tight, so it might be OK). One passive player flats in middle position and the button (a young competent/agressive looking player) 3bets our UTG open. This is a great spot to 4bet.Author agrees, but I think his explanation is lacking: He says our opponent appears competent, so he will sometimes play back at us. So go ahead and put in a small raise since we have blockers to some premium hands such as JJ, KK, AK.This is all correct, BUT, the key here that makes this spot good for a 4bet bluff and other spots bad is the composition of each player's range in this spot. When you open from UTG, your range should be very tight and nutty. The range of hands that wants to 3bet your UTG range for value is extremely narrow. Young aggressive players will 3bet widely on the button in order to apply pressure and try to get folds either preflop or postflop. It's hard for him to get dealt a hand good enough to 3bet you, but easy to 3bet bluff. So his range is actually full of bluffs and semibluffs, while your range has plenty of nutty hands. Also, the player in between you has a capped range after only flatting your open (no premiums in his range). You just so happen to actually hold an extremely rare weak hand at the rock bottom of your range.In summary, this is an excellent time to 4bet bluff because your overall range is strong and nutty while your opponents' ranges are either capped or bluff heavy. They can't play back, because you will have AA/KK often in proportion to the times that you will bluff. The blockers in your hand are icing on the cake.I just think that a very good conceptual explanation is needed when we advise players to start 4bet bluffing, as you can get into a lot of trouble.Despite my rambling complaint above, I still think that this book and format will do a lot more to improve your live cash game than many other current alternatives.

I went to the mental game part 3 first and it is something I am still working on and I will continue to work on more often some of the tips from dr. gardner were awesome I have most of jonathans books and he never lets me down. my only complaint I have is they offer free Elliot roe video that I cant find to download and a tournament cheatg sheet that I cant find but these both could be because of me. jonathans FLOAT THE TURN WEBSITE IS A GREAT VALUE ALSO TRY IT!

Another Excellent Book from Jonathan Little By Czech Mate In this book, Jonathan Little takes you through 100+ hands he played over four days, discussing the plays he made and why he made them. It's "the why he made them" that makes this book a tremendous source for improving your poker game.I liked that he discusses valid different lines that could be taken and even criticizes his own play on a few hands. This book will teach you how a top-level pro thinks about poker in the heat of battle. If you want to take your poker game to a new level, I HIGHLY recommend your read Jonathan Little's books and Ed Miller's "Playing the Player" and "How To Read Hands at No-Limit Hold 'Em".

This book reads like good advice from a caring and knowledgeable friend By Cari Cooper I'll preface this review by saying that I do not have diabetes. However, several members of my family do, and the likelihood of me developing it at some point in my life isn't small. I got this book to share with my mother who has had a hard time taking her diagnosis seriously. This book reads exactly like hearing good advice from a dear friend who cares about you. It's entertaining, informative, and to the point. Heck, it has great advice for non-diabetics, too. If you or anyone you know could use a little wonderful advice from someone who isn't a cheerful educator with a script and lists of do-not-eat foods that seem overwhelming, start here. Hensley nails it. I devoured this little gem in one afternoon. The large print helps, too! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and advice with us!

Ambrose, PhD This primer is a wonderful introduction to the great diabetic monster that so many of us fight. Hensley gives unique insight into the mental side of coping, but she also furnishes great tips for meal planning and the daily schedule. Her own regime represents the model diabetic, but her book gives the straightforward and seemingly easy steps that one must take to reach that level of health. Along with the details about food labeling and excercize, she conveys the solid wisdom that comes with experience. It is a lonely struggle for every diabetic, but this book gives one a view into the mind of someone else with the same disease. You will learn much if you read how Hensley was able to get her mind, body and health regimen around the staggering job of accepting, managing and living with diabetes.

Boatenreiter I have known this incredible woman for years, and I can personally vouch for her unbelievable level of vitality, health, strength, and happiness. She has more energy, drive, and inspiration than most people 1/3 of her age, all while dealing with an illness that can be, and often is, debilitating in every way (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, you name it) for many people. I had the good fortune of witnessing some of her process in writing this, and I know firsthand that it is 100% genuine. This isn't another one of those "snake oil" solutions with the same old junk, re-packaged to make a quick buck. It reads like a conversation between the reader and a person who wants to help, because that is exactly what it is, and was meant to be, wholeheartedly. It isn't judg-y, it isn't preachy, and it's not about blaming or shaming yourself. And it's not some militaristic, impossible, over the top eating plan, or rigid exercise boot camp routine. Who wants any of that? It's about enjoying your life while managing your diabetes, not about being ruled by it!And by the way... yes...she really does still eat pizza!!My parter was diagnosed with the same form of diabetes as the author around 7 years ago, and I truly wish this book had been around for us at the time. We were shooting blind (haha, almost literally for him, because his glucose levels were so high that they were causing vision problems) and something like this would have felt like a lifeline from heaven. That sounds dramatic, but anyone with diabetes knows the feeling. When 99% of the people you talk to are telling you that you're going to be living on a diet of kale and water, This book says, "Now hang on just a minute, that's just not necessary!" It really is a ray of hope for anyone newly diagnosed, and is also packed with plenty of tips and tricks for those who have been dealing with it for years. And has great advice for those who are caretakers for or loved ones of diabetics, as well. It's not just a book about living with diabetes, it's a book about really LIVING again!*edited for typing error*

Dear Mr Ravenscroft, By Cylon Hindenburger II Dear Mr Ravenscroft,I was delighted to read in an online article about how these self-publishing authors could take more risks and be more erotically outrageous than that of their big publishing house counterparts. The article even went on to explain just how one author in particular set a new trend with a bestselling book containing lots of bondage and sadomasochistic scenes and that all the other self-published authors seem to have followed on the trend.Imagine my disappointment then when I recently purchased your book, “Dear Pepsi-Cola,” a title so wrought with potential for kinky food fetishes and sexual euphemisms that it had me bursting with excitement at the turn of the first page only to find that all I got for my money was a series of complaint letters written to a variety of food companies and organisations, the Prime Minister and, gawd bless her, the Queen as well.I feel I must point out that these letters are not erotic in any way; merely they appear to be using skilful wit and classic British humour to make a mockery of complaint letters by grumpy old men. You may make full use of your acute sense of humour to ridicule the procedure-lead customer service departments of these large companies, I laughed yes I laughed out loud, but that is beside the point.My issue is not only the lack of saucy scenes but the lack of content, half of the book is taken up with replies from the various companies and often very amusing themselves with their lack of understanding that this is all a joke, I still feel upset to say the least in so much that half the book is therefore not even written by the author himself.So, without bondage, humiliation and dominatrix sexual acts, of which I doubt if this author has any grasp of at all since the days of the Boer War, all we are left with is a series of very funny letters from an amusing old fellow posing as a grumpy old man.My question to you sir is, do you not feel that this book should have some kind of warning on the cover to inform the reader that its contents has no saucy bits in it? Should the reader that was expecting some have a nasty accident involving funny bones would you not feel slightly responsible?I also note that many of the companies in your excellently funny book tend to send you complimentary vouchers; you should be ashamed of yourself excepting such bribes and certainly not expose their foolishness after such generosity. I trust as I have taken the time to write a similarly placed but not half as funny letter to your good self that you might act in the same way by offering me another of your fine books or else I will just have to go out and buy them and also, advise others to do the same as they are something very special.
