I wondered where exactly the author might take the characters and if he could write something as good as book 1. I can honestly say he did!The characters we met in book 1 are back with a vengeance, along with many new characters.Robert Cutter is once again at the forefront of the action, but this time his family are drawn into it also. Can he protect everyone he cares about from an unknown enemy? Is the enemy as unknown to him as we first believe? Will he triumph once again over those determined to see him go down?Great read, book 1 should be read first in order to get the full impact of the story in this book. Bring on book 3??

David E. Gordon did not disappoint!Another Cutter takes place a few years after we left Robert and Shannon. Life appears to be normal for our favorite power couple until a chain of events happen that send their lives in to a tailspin of mystery and danger.David E. Gordon wrote a masterful tale with a hero that is, dare I say it...relatable. Of course, he's a rich billionaire with a troubled past but throw away your preconceived notions you have about the alpha billionaire. Robert Cutter breaks that mold. His internal struggles are that of each one of us. When we are so sure of our path, how do we handle things when obstacles present themselves and seem to almost want to take away everything we have worked for? How do you deal with not knowing if you can trust the very people you consider family? And worst of all...how can you trust yourself when it appears that you may have put your trust in the wrong people? After all, self doubt can be the downfall of even the most powerful person.Another Cutter is, just like the first book, very well written. It is fast paced and chock full of suspense. It is NOT a stand alone, though, keep that in mind.

By Sarah I enjoyed Cutter, but was leary of the sequel, it is rare that an author can write a follow up book that lives up to the first book in a series. Surprisingly Another Cutter is better than the first book. I don't know if it is due to getting to know the characters better or if its because David Gordon has refined his writing style. Whatever the case may be I was extremely pleased with Another Cutter. It's well written, the characters are likeable, the story line is fantastic and I am eagerly anticipating book 3!!

Written by an insider to the business, with a knowledge of industry practices, dirty tricks and shady business aims of some of the worst underbelly, white collar predators around the American economy today, and the best and most effective ways to fight them. This book gave me a heads up on fighting these debt collectors and and a fresh start at rebuilding my financial future. Highly reccomend. Mr Cardoza and his book are more worthwhile than Donald Trump and Suze Ormond combined. His book gave me a fresh start and goes a long way to retaking the moral highground for the average American consumer. 5 STARS. Strong, straight up.

Well written - the book is both informative and fun to read. Mike is a truly gifted writer, which is more than one can say about most lawyers. I trust what Mike says here as I know he is a competent and skilled trial attorney. I also served with Mike in the Marine Corps (he even worked for me for a time) and I can tell you that he is the consummate professional and one of the most zealous advocates for his clients that I have ever known. He is not an adversary you want to tangle with in the courtroom. He knows his stuff. This book is further proof of that.

There is a comprehensive overview of the debt collection business.The author describes how debt collection companies pay pennies on the dollar for the right to collect, as well as the legal and practical pitfalls facing a debt collector which may result in cancellation of the debt or even large money damages awarded to the victimized debtor. (Not mentioned in the book, a recent Missouri case, plaintiff Meija, resulted in a judgment of 83 million dollars!).It turns out that there are federal and state laws which describe what debt collectors may do, and more importantly, what they may NOT do. Debt collector violations may result in large damages due to a debtor, even though the total or part of the claimed debt is actually owed. The Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and similar State acts protect folks from predatory debt collection practices.It appears that if one keeps accurate records of every debt collector contact, by phone or letter, and finds a debt collection specialist lawyer, the probability of winning is greatly increased.There are lawyers in every state who will represent purported debtors at No cost. This Young man have away that is unique with a pen.So far I have read both of his books and they are DARN good. Repercussions will grab your interest from the first page. All of my emotions was brought out in this book. The anger that I felt towards Blood with his ruthless behind.The hurt that you feel behind Miranda's ordeal. Shawn write his story to make you feel like his Characters are people that you really do know. I am so ok long forward to his next release.

I was impressed by his first book Dark Infidelity, so have been waiting nail-bitingly patiently for Repercussions, and he pulled it off again. This book is HOT! Blood is a force to be reckoned with . . . that is until the sexy, stubborn, daunting, and fearless Amelia becomes a greater force, balancing threats against her life, the lives of her friends, coworkers and family and a budding romance to boot, until the tides turn, because Blood isn't the only force to be reckoned with.

I am excited to have joined several book clubs on Facebook, because they have an open avenue to many authors you would normally never hear about let alone get a masterpiece in the aftermath. This book is hands down electrifying. I am anxiously awaiting his next book. I already have the book about the hairdresser and wandering husband (Dark Fidelity) and will begin reading immediately. I have another author that can get my adrenaline pumping.

They've provided many hours of entertaining, from trying to figure out where the words go to trying to figure out if some of the words are real. I have one, as does my 15 year old and my 9 year old. It's a little challenging for my 9 year old, but she can do them pretty well.

Amazon.com Review Overall, this is one of the strongest young adult excerpts that I've read so far. While Elva does show some of the traits of a typical YA teen: i.e. insecurity, her personality is already revealed to be unique enough to indicate to the reader that she will be a memorable protagonist.

I'm glad I took a chance on it. =) By Smiley I was supposed to be doing homework and chores and other stuff that sucks, but decided to read this book instead. You never know what you're going to get when you buy a random book off amazon but this one is truly unique. This is one of those books that you read in one sitting and laugh your a** off the entire time. I'm glad I took a chance on it. =)

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Smalltown Trekkie with big dreams By S. Taitel I was completely charmed by this oddball of an excerpt. At first the quirky tone threw me a little. I'm not from the south and grew up in a very big city, so the setting felt a little alien to me, and possibly contrived. But I got sucked in and found Elva incredibly relateble. (I was an overweight scfi geek/social outcast as a teen. I only wish I had as much gumption as Elva when I was in high school) Making her a Trekkie feels original. I don't think I've read a novel with a Trekkie MC, and you rarely see geek characters in rural settings. (In fiction, we geeks are everywhere in reality). I don't really have clue where the plot is heading, but I don't care too much, I just want to spend more time with Elva.My one issue was that the hell metaphor gets hit a few too many times in the opening paragraphs. Since I was coming in with no context, I wasn't positive it was a metaphor, or if the high school was meant to literally be hell. After all in fiction anything is possible.

A Real Girl By Vijaya Bodach I rarely give 5 stars because there is always something wanting, but Plumb Crazy left me completely satisfied, like a cat who snuck into the cream. Elva Presley doesn't feel like a character in a book, but like a real girl whom I could sit and watch the Wrath of Khan with as we devour junk food and then later take apart the plot. She works hard, dreams big, and has the ability to laugh at herself. I laughed my way through this book and can't wait for more novels from this author.
