8 of 8 people found the following review helpful. Whew! A Wonderful Read! By Mesquite Girl My favorite author is Nora Roberts, so I am generally hesitant to try new authors in the romance genre. However, several friends had recommended this book, so I wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did.Normally, the conflict is between boy and girl, but in this book it is the outside forces that create multiple conflicts. Without giving anything away, I found this book to be a real page turner. I have already ordered 2 of C Keniston's other books.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. exciting, suspenseful novel By Deemus This novel starts out as a supportive friends story--the kind of friends who immediately come to each other's aid, even when it involves long plane trips and disrupted lives and jobs. As the story progresses, you realize that there is something more, some element you don't yet know. All of a sudden, the action kicks up a notch, and the suspense rises. I found myself racing through page after page to find out what was going to happen. There were some heart-strings-tugging passages, but the ending is satisfying and resolves the issues. I highly recomment this book!
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. The Champagne Sisterhood By Jim B I enjoyed The Champagne Sisterhood immensely. It captured my interest early and I didn't want to put it down. I can relate to the characters as my brother and sister have had their own groups of friends since high school that fly across country to help in emergencies. I loved the way Anna just stepped up to help even when she was way out of her comfort zone. Add the heat and the sub-plots on both coasts and you have a must read.
