About the Author Joe Randazzo is the author of nine previous books, including six novels and Going With the Wind, a photo-documentary on North and South Carolina. His artwork has been exhibited at many venues throughout New England, including Castleton State College, T. W. Wood Art Gallery, and the Helen Day Art Center. He lives with his wife Rita in South Burlington, Vermont.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Very very funny! By Richard C. Wedemeyer I think this is one of the funniest satirical books I've ever read. It is a no hold barred slap 'em up side the head look at the GOP and in particular the Tea Baggers. Most books in the humor category fail to deliver fully as you continue with them, but this one actually gets better as it progresses. The Sarah Lapin vignette priceless. So are the GOP rat and bedbug sections. The Indian small town sign had me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my seat! One of the nice features of this book is that the chapters are short and so you can go in and out of it without losing continuity. I have liked Randazzo's other books, particularly his photo/essay one of the South, but this is by far his best. You gotta read this one...

For those who like their satire to be as incisive as it is witty, Capitol Offenses: House for Sale is a great read. President Nick Hades thinks of Americans as "the sheeple" and of the presidency as an endless opportunity to rip them off. His motto is, "I asked a simple question of America. I asked not what your country could do for you, but what you could do for me." Ably abetted by first lady Nora Hades, infamous for her red-sequined panties and frisky nature, he concocts schemes that might teach Frank Underwood a thing or two.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Satirical gem-hilarious! By RW Tongue in cheek, foot in mouth-this satirical gem has it all. With Donald Trump's star on the rise, "Capitol Offenses" is more prophecy than entertainment! Kudos to Joe Randazzo for penning this season's must-read!
