Heartbreaking, heartwarming, heartfelt By Weedereader As an avid reader of legal fiction, I truly enjoyed and recommend Personal Injury by Norman Perl. The novel's prologue opens with the main character, Jonathan Gold, sitting in a courtroom awaiting the return of a Federal jury who has decided his future, after a twelve week trial. The author had me hyperventilating. How Gold finds himself a defendant after decades as a successful personal injury attorney took me on a most interesting journey through one man's life with the law. [[ASIN:0893345105 Personal Injury]

In hindsight I think I can see why the those reviews lead me astray - isn't it curious that all three of the prior posts were posted on October 23, 2011. I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet that's not a coincidence.Overall, I would call this a forgettable tale of a lawyer who fell on hard times after he was proverbially "ganged-up on" by the system, his former clients, and his peers.
