A good read for those who want to become actors and for those who just like reading about actors By Amazon Customer This is a fun book to read even if you aren't interested in a career in acting. Jerry shares many humorous anecdotes about stars he has worked with through his years as a casting director from Leonardo DiCaprio to George Clooney. His advice is applicable for any profession--study, work hard, and display your integrity at all times. He also has advice for parents--let children make their own choices in their careers and don't try to live your lives vicariously through them.

By chops131 A truly wonderful read for an actor interested in what they will really encounter if going into the industry. The book has a lot of vital information for a young actor (or parent of an actor) to know before venturing out into the business of film and television acting. I wish this was around before I got into the industry instead of having to learn the hard way. Do yourselves a favor and read this book.
