This is a must read for those who are technically challenged and not born into the computer age. But I think, even if you are an online expert, this book is enlightening to the perils and dangers that honest everyday citizens never think about. With out a doubt Trip Elix is to the computer what the Mozart was to music. It is his clear voice, that takes you step by step to understand what is happening and what you can do about it to safe guard you and your family's information and identity.

By Creep Trip Elix never ceases to amaze us with his in-depth knowledge and perception of the world around us in this technical age. Most of us are not aware of or never think of many of the obstacles that we could run into in our everyday lives while just "existing" in this era of technology where every word you speak or write, every transaction you make, and any place you visit could end up a nightmare for any one of us.

Stoll A Right to Property explores the exploitation of our personal data in an original and easy to grasp way. It posits that each of our personal data represent our private property. As such, this book argues that we as citizens have the right to protect our personal data as we do our "real private property." Unfortunately, this right to our personal data is not enshrined in our legal system. As a result, it is subject to vast exploitation, and this lack of protection exposes us to dangerous manipulation. Corporations regularly sell personal information including our medical records, relationship histories, military status, etc. to anybody and everybody without any sensitivity to the harm it may cause us. The danger of the uncontrolled sale of personal data is best exemplified by the fact that US military service personnel's and police officers' residences, family composition, service records, and so on, are .now easily accessible to terrorists or criminals, who can then target first responders and their families. This excellent book is a much needed wake up call for us to initiate political change to reverse the current vulnerability of our personal data.
