Black My father fought in the Pacific theater during WW2 and I became fascinated by the stories he told me about it. It is refreshing to read true life accounts given by other veterans rather than a fictionalized account by a Hollywood hack.

Gave very good background of a soldier, sailors experience. The narrator was very good. Made the listening very engrossing. I recommend this book to those that want a more personal experience.
