(1966), and Mission Impossible (1967), to name but a few. A must read for bionic fans as well as fans of the whole television and film genres By Rahnay Put on your shoes and grab your coat and get ready to visit Richard Anderson, star of film and television. In reading Richard Anderson At Last...A Memoir it feels as though Richard has invited you over into his living room to tell his life story of working on the big screen, television as well as his other life contributions. Alan Doshna does an excellent job of capturing Richard's idiolect throughout the entire book. It tells of Richard's earlier works such as Curse of the Faceless Man and also Forbidden Planet which remains popular today in which some may consider the “father” of the science fiction film. It also talks of what some may consider his major television works, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman as well as producing all three bionic reunion movies. Richard gives an in depth look at what it was like to work behind the camera and how enjoying as well as grueling it could be especially working in the days of CinemaScope. He also delves into his personal life and also for his love of the automobile. Richard Anderson is thought to be a true gentleman and a rare breed and this book exemplifies it. This book was a delight to read and is a much need read for fans of film and television, since Richard contributed a huge part to both genres.
