Shortly after Nancy’s death Hustler Magazine were approached by a photographer who informed them that he had nude photos of Nancy from a photo session done in the early 1980s. Huster bought the images and published them in their March 2008 issue. This was too much for Nancy's family who promptly sued Huster for publishing the photos without permission or compensation. This book covers every moment of every day of the court case case, as it unfolded.

I always found the legal side fascinating in the sense that black usually is black until the facts show shades of grey that no one noticed before. But that's Television. And TRUTH is often far more brutal and unjust. Mr. Best's book is really the stuff students of the legal system will relish most of all. This is their language. Mr. Best asked me to illustrate the cover and once I started reading up on Ms. Benoit I was taken with her beauty and later tragic end. I knew nothing about this event and it still strikes me as one of those tales that depicts the excesses of greed, corruption and irresponsibility. Even in Mr. Best's compilation of public documents the characters are larger than life and often egotistical and uncaring. The argument is over nude pictures of Ms. Benoit published without consent. But the argument is sometimes lost in the noise of her life and fame. There are no winners or losers here. Just the realization that time never truly heals all wounds.
