0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Finally, there's help! By Lynn Stiern Garey Williams has written a thoughtful and thorough curriculum for big band drumming in one book. His DVD is excellent and includes different rhythms, set-ups, and example music with and without drums to put into your IPOD or IPhone (cell phone) and use to practice the pages and instruction in the book. He includes in these practice musical clips fast, medium, and slower examples, so that we can both see (reading the music) and hear what it should sound like. His videos are well done and NOT examples of how to play near impossible passages at speeds impossible for us students who are not yet at the top level of big band drummers. A wonderful learning tool.
