"Two Boobs" will not answer the great questions of life. But it will remind you why you're alive. The interaction of the two brothers, Joe and Moe, reminded me of the skit by Steve Martin and Chevy Chase in the original Saturday Night Live, Two Wild and Crazy Guys from Czechoslovakia", one of my all time favorites. It also threw me back several decades into my own youth, when the most profound question was, "Hey, who wants to go with me to pick up some beer?" Profundity of overrated. Just like the classics. All too often you not only don't get the "big questions" answered, but you end up scratching your head wondering why you read this turgid bombast in the first place. So it's Saturday evening, you've got two books sitting on your kitchen table. One is Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales" and the other is "Boobs". You're trying to decide which one to read. If you don't want to wake up Sunday morning with an headache, in my humble opinion the choice is pretty obvious.I have to mention that the copy of this novel I got was full of typos and serious grammatical errors. I may have mistakenly been sent an earlier draft, pre-editing. None of this digital technology ordering online stuff is perfect, so maybe I just got stuck with a bad version. But let's be honest here. We live in the Age of Internet Babble, where correct spelling, grammar and punctuation are for old-timers and victims of chronic OCD. This is the 21st Century, dude! LOL, WTF, ROTFLMAO! All of which, by the way, apply to "Boobs".So I say, live it up! Chaucer can wait. Put a smile on your long face. And if you're up to it, let's go and pick up some beer, eh?

Spring Break hijinks By Harold Hempka aka Hal Kempka When I first saw the cover to Boobs in Paradise, i thought it was a story about the zany exploits of two young soldiers. Then I realized they were sporting brassiere cups on their heads. It looked like a fun read so I bought it. Moe and Joe, two postgraduate braniacs decide to, for the first time in their academic lives, partake inthat annual testosterone/estrogen laced free for all known as Springbreak. The two MIT students head to Cabo San Lucas for a week of drunken, bawdy fun withe the intent to lose their virginity.John Brook takes his readers on a rollercoaster ride of hijinks, fun, and blu-balled rejection in pursuit of the coveted prize. Nicely told story keeps you wondering and rooting for the boys to score. This was a fun read when you are in no mood to take life seriously
