About the Author Raymond Clark was born, one of eight children in a mining village in the North East of England in 1948. He enlisted in the Army in 1963 and for the next 26years saw service in GB, Germany West, Berlin, Gibraltar, Kenya, Ethiopia and active service in Northern Ireland, Cyprus UN Peacekeeping Force and Aden (Saudi Arabia). Since leaving the forces he has worked in retail Management, Homeless Charity Management. He has a degree in Management Studies, Plays the Flute. His wife Cynthia died in 2000 and he has a daughter who lives with her fiancé in NIreland. In 2014 he was awarded a British Empire Medal for his services to Charity in Her Majesties Honours List.
