About the Author
Glenda Mason is passionate about dogs. A resident of the Connecticut coast, she fervently supports local dog adoption groups and has owned ten dogs of different breeds over the years. Mason has also completed educational programs at the New York Botanical Gardens that emphasize the use of horticultural therapy to heal hospitalized patients. She is now in the process of taking a pet therapy training program that will permit her and her dog to be certified to interact with the elderly and others who can benefit from the social and therapeutic interaction with a friendly dog.

I am so grateful for the deep awareness such a cleverly written short story could accomplish. I grew up with dogs, and I LOVE dogs, however as a young woman I have not owned one of my own just yet. I now feel so much more admiration and respect for all the great dogs and dog owners out there. I can't wait to be one of them and do my part in creating a mature and loving life for such a loving animal. To all the great dog owners, thank you for taking care of such a sweet and special part of this world. Highly recommended and very enjoyable.
