Lyons Shattered Pieces is a window and if you are brave enough to peer through it you will see family dysfunction and the horror that is sexual and physical abuse. I would not be surprised if the author were a bitter, angry, mad woman, after having endured this experience. But she is not. Vernetta is a strong, loving, gentle and kind lady with deep spiritual convictions. She is brave to share her story and to share the things that have helped her walk from darkness to light. I pray that this account will help many others do the same. It has certainly helped me.

WITHOUT GIVING DETAILS ABOUT THE BOOK I'LL JUST SAY THIS.... I ADMIRER YOU FOR NOT USING YOUR PAST AS AN EXCUSE TO DO NOTHING FOR YOUR FUTURE. "BRAVO"!!! TO YOU, AND ALL THE OTHER SURVIVORS IN THIS WORLD WHO TOOK A VERY NEGATIVE SITUATION IN THEIR LIFE AND TURNED IT INTO THEIR FOOTSTOOL. THANK YOU AUTHOR FOR HELPING SO MANY UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN THOUGH WE MAY LOSE SOME BATTLES WE WILL WIN THE WAR IN THE END.
