This book reinforced a mentoring process that I created and have been using. Reading this book helped me to realize exactly WHAT I was doing and WHY it made sense. When things seem to come naturally to us, we become even better when we understand the philosophy behind what we are doing. This book reinforced many of my practices and now I understand why I have been successful. What I do when I practice group mentoring is not just due to possessing a natural talent for it -- what I do is rooted in good theory based on what I read in this book.
