The testimony of her relationship with God and how her faith in him got her through such terrible circumstances was something sh By Sharon Allen I thought this book was such an inspiration and should be to other readers as well, The testimony of her relationship with God and how her faith in him got her through such terrible circumstances was something she should be very proud of. Such a courageous author that really shows us how surrendering all to God can help us overcome our past as well. Good job Cindy!

I was worried the struggles would be too depressing, but really the book just turned them into opportunities for the reader to find strength as a result of all the challenges life gives us. I especially enjoyed the chapters on "Embracing Rock Bottom" and "The Power of Letting Go" because it is so hard not to dwell on the difficulties. The author shares her experiences and mistakes and what she had to overcome to be the person she is today. A must read if you are feeling down or just can't fathom why you are struggling!

The lessons shared in this book are integral to a successful career for both males and females. The great courage it took Cindy to share such a personal testimony is truly inspiring. What I enjoyed about the book most was the transparency. There was no sugar coating or seemingly perfect progression in her book. It is a real life journey of ups and downs along with lessons learned of how to triumph over any obstacle you may be faced with through strong faith!
